Woodland Indian Living History

October 14th and 15th

Join us for a one of a kind experience as we welcome Jessica Diemer-Eaton and her husband, Mark Eaton, to the farm!  They will set up their mini Woodland Indian Camp, as they bring to life what it might have been like on our farm 200+ years ago.  Jessica brings over 16 years of research and experience serving as a museum interpreter at a recreated 17th century Munsee-Delaware village, a Native American Studies instructor for schools and camps, and an education director for a Native-focused history park.  While they do not act in 1st person (so as not to be disrespectful to these cultures), Jessica and Mark travel throughout the surrounding states, sharing their knowledge by demonstrating many aspects of Native American life including games, activities and food preparation and preservation.  You will not want to miss it!  Check them out here.
