GROUP EVENT FAQ’S

  • Is there a charge for parents/guests who are just watching? What about children under 3?

    There is no charge for guests who are just watching.  No charge for guests under 3 or over 59.  We do, however, charge admission now, so any guests from 3-59, who do not pay, will only be allowed on the farm during your birthday party without paid admission and may not do the activities with you (including but not limited to the hayride, corn maze, barrel rides, peddle go carts, and mini golf.)

  • How much does it cost for extra guests to participate?

    The discounted group rate is $6.00 per child (discount price for adults is $5.00). You can choose to pay for extra participants or have them pay for themselves. Extra paying guests can give the name of the birthday child to the people at the ticket booth.  They can collect money there for extra guests and admit guests in your party that are already paid for.  If your party is in the outdoor garden area, you must meet the minimum requirements before getting the discounted rates.

  • Which activities are included with the party?

    All of the activities on the farm with the exception of the Giant Sling Shot (you can purchase 3 gourds for $1 to sling) and the Arrowhead Hunting area ($1 for 1 arrowhead or $3 for 4).

  • How long does a party last?

    You may use the indoor party area for 2 hours (or you can rent it for 2 time slots). However, you and your guests (who’ve paid admission) are more than welcome to come early or stay after your party (during hours of operation) to play on the farm. You must watch the time and remove your personal items from the party area prior to the end of your 2 hours as we need to prepare for the next party.

  • What is the indoor party area like?

    The indoor party area is located in our large, new barn. Each party has their own section with enough picnic tables to seat its guests, however there could be a party next to you. Party areas have 2 additional serving tables for food. There are electric outlets by the serving tables. A large play area is in the other half of this barn and the Harvest Café is next door so there will most likely be other people close by. This is not a completely private area.

  • What are the party times for the indoor areas?

    10:00-12:00  12:15-2:15  2:45-4:45  5:00-7:00

  • Garden party times

    11:00     1:30     4:00  

  • What if it rains?

    The beauty of renting an indoor space, is that there is no need to cancel for inclement weather. There will still be plenty to do undercover. We suggest dressing for the outside weather as our buildings are not heated.

  • Where do we check in for the party and where should I tell my guests to go?

    Everyone will check in at the ticket booth.  Either they will direct you or your party host will meet you there.  If you get to your party area early, please be respectful of parties finishing up prior to your party. You will be able to set up 15 minutes prior to your party.  On the other end, please make sure you are finished and cleaned up by the end of your time slot so that the next party can set up.

  • Is there a deposit?

    There is a $50 deposit for the indoor party area only. ($75 if you rent two time slots or party areas.)  If you cancel more than 2 weeks prior to your party, you can have a full refund. If you cancel less than 2 weeks before your party, you lose your deposit.

  • Can we bring our own food, drinks, and desserts to the farm?

    Yes. There is electric available for crock pots. Keep in mind that you have 15 minutes to set up for your party, so you’ll want to keep it simple. Also, note that table cloths, plates and napkins are only provided for Packages 2 and 3, or a la cart, but you must tell us ahead of time to insure there are enough.

  • Do you offer food?

    Yes. We sell food at the farm during the weekends (and for large groups during the week).

  • Is there electricity available at the party areas

    Yes. There is electric available for several crockpots in the indoor party area as well as in the garden area.

  • What does a party host do?

    Your party host will greet you, get you started, help take payment, help with food for packages 2 and 3, and clean up party area. (You should dispose of all trash before leaving area.) Your party host will not stay with you during your whole party.

  • How many people can each party area hold?

    Each party area can seat up to 48 adults (50-some if most of your guests are children).  You could also rent both areas which would seat almost 100.

  • Am I allowed to bring decorations?

    Absolutely!  Keep in mind that you only have 15 minutes to set up and a very short time to clean up at the end, so keep it simple.  We prefer if you have items to hang that you use magnets rather than tape on the walls, please.

  • Will my party have an agenda?

    You will not have a specific agenda, unless you create one.  You may decide what works best for your party.  That said, we recommend either doing activities that you want your entire group present for 1st or letting your guests know when and where those activities will take place, just in case anyone wanders off from your group.  Let your guests know if you prefer they stay with you or if it’s ok for families to go off on their own.  Children should always be accompanied by an adult.

  • Can we have our birthday party at one of the outdoor campfire sites?

    Yes, of course!  You may reserve campfire sites for any amount of time (if available).  These sites do not have shelter, so if the weather is poor you may need to cancel.  Click here for pricing and information
